Do you understand, my friend, how significant a window is for a person?
Tamme Leeni was sitting by the window for long days and long seasons. When she could, she stumbled there herself, when she couldn’t, she asked to be taken there. /…/ I was wondering why she was always sitting there. On One day I asked. She explained it in such a simple manner: she sees sky and birds, movement of leaves, and a passing human being from time to time. And of course! What a blessing it is for a person who is nailed in one place and who is alone. How come that we – who we are hurrying day by day among birds in the sky, leaves on the trees, and other people - do not understand that. (Excerpt from the book by Voldemar Panso “A Funny Person”).
With devotion and heart,
Your Aknakoda
